Welcome to the website of the South West Teaching Public Health Network (SWTPHN).  The Network is one of nine across England, funded by the Department of Health, and aims to develop opportunities for public health teaching and learning across the region. 

The SWTPHN is a partnership between teaching Primary Care Trusts (t-PCTs), academic institutions and key public health bodies at regional and strategic health authority level in the South West of England.

This site provides online resources and information for public health professionals in the South West that will facilitate teaching and learning in public health. 

The newsletters, to be found under the SWTPHN News section, outline some of the activities that the Network has been involved in during the past few years.
